Beginning Again
“I passed the FPGEE in 2013. Initially I saw lots of reviews for NoteFull, but I did not want to spend the money because I thought, ‘It’s just English!’ I took nine exams. Seven before taking NoteFull and two after NoteFull, I would have passed the first time after NoteFull, but I didn’t listen to the questions properly.”
Chintan’s challenge was that he fell into a situation that is common for many pharmacy students. He was able to earn the scores he needed in every section but the speaking. He would get either a 23 or 24 each time. We’ve seen this happen many times before.

If a student is getting scores below 20, they need help with English skills, but if the student keeps getting 23 or 24, they need to work on TOEFL skills, which means giving complete and meaningful answers in a logical way. On Their Way
After 8 unsuccessful attempts, Chintan finally achieved his dream scores on his 9th try! He got the speaking score of 26 that he worked so hard for. And a total score of 103! Great job, Chintan!
Now he’s enjoying his summer in Boston and the beaches of Massachusetts. Free of the TOEFL, he looks forward to a bright future.
Looking back, Chintan regrets the years that he spent studying for the TOEFL alone. He hopes that the students who come after him can learn from him:
“Professional people who are taking the TOEFL to get their license, I recommend that they take the NoteFull courses as soon as possible because, when I think in retrospect, not only did I lose my exam fees of eight times, but if I consider my salary of two years, I lost $200,000, just because I wanted to save a few hundred dollars.”
Remember, your dream is NOT to pass the TOEFL. Your dream is beyond the TOEFL. This test costs way more time and money than the few hours you spend in the testing center and the $190 sign up fee.
Chintan avoided using NoteFull for fear of losing a few hundred dollars. This ended up costing him far more than just a small sum of money. Don’t let this lesson go to waste.
