SEPTEMBER 2019 – PHARMACY: WITH LIVE INTERVIEW!
Walaa is a wonderful student of ours from Egypt. It is her dream to get her pharmacy license so she can work as a pharmacist in Tennessee where she lives.
By the time she came to the US she had already completed pharmacy school. So the TOEFL was one of the last steps between her and her dream job!
Beginning Again
Walaa’s TOEFL journey began back in 2016. A friend of hers who moved to the states a few years before had seen success with NoteFull. So she encouraged her to work with us as well.
Taking her friend’s advice, Walaa signed up for our Complete TOEFL Mastery Self-Study program. She started studying here and there, but she wasn’t able to put her full focus into it. Her challenge was that she was already busy preparing for her FPGEE…And not to mention becoming a mother to her newborn baby! With her hands full, it would be some time before she could return to her TOEFL studies…
Finding Help
When she finally did, she went back to the Complete TOEFL Mastery program. Luckily, Walaa found her TOEFL solution early on. But she was still very new to the English language. Being so new to the country made things more difficult too. So she had a hard time with the material at first. But over time, going through the program and taking the practice tests made things much easier for her.
She tried taking the TOEFL a few times along the way but she wasn’t able to get the scores she needed. So in early 2019 she decided to sign up for our powerful new course: My NoteFull TOEFL Speaking Success Story Course.

Walaa found that Joseph’s methods for improving her English skills gave her a lot of confidence. His advice to take whatever you’re struggling with and break it down into small steps was incredibly helpful for her. Working with him helped her improve in all sections of the TOEFL. And his honesty and support helped her feel that she was in good hands.
She followed the Speaking Success Story Course from February of 2019 until her final TOEFL attempt in June.
On Their Way
On June 14th, Walaa took the TOEFL for her 4th time and got her dream score of 106! Now she can take the NAPLEX which will allow her to get her license and fulfill her dream of becoming a pharmacist!
She would like to share the following advice with anyone who is studying for the TOEFL:
“Have confidence in yourself. Don’t lose hope or say, ‘I can’t do it, it’s so hard,’ or anything like that. Keep your confidence. Keep studying, because that’s very helpful. And keep sticking with NoteFull. Don’t go anywhere!…sometimes we have that time struggling, ‘It’s so hard, I can’t do it. I’m taking a lot of tests and I can’t do it,’ but just keep confidence that you can do it. Keep studying. If you are taking classes keep attending the classes. Keep doing your best. It takes time, but you will be there…It’s not that easy, but it’s not impossible. It is possible.”
