Beginning Again

Rasha’s challenge, like for many of our students, was meeting the pharmacy board’s TOEFL requirements. Her first attempt didn’t go so well though. She got a 21 on the listening section but came up short in the other 3 sections.

Finding Help

That’s when she started searching for a solution. Luckily enough, Rasha found NoteFull’s videos on YouTube…

“When I first discovered NoteFull, I wasn’t sure whether to jump into all the programs, so I started by registering for support back in the summer of 2015. I was really happy with the feedback I got, so over the next 12 months I used that feedback, along with the free resources, to guide my studies.”

Hungry to learn more, Rasha would send us emails for advice. She learned a lot from all our help, so she signed up for our Complete TOEFL Mastery program.

“After those sessions I decided to take the TOEFL again, and I got my highest score ever for writing: 27! I also passed the reading and listening sections, but speaking I was still stuck at 22. I felt really depressed. I spoke to Joseph and he told me not to lose hope, that an increase in speaking scores take time. So I continued my classes…They were great, not only during the sessions, but also in with giving so much feedback outside of class time.”

She wasn’t happy with her scores but wasn’t going to give up that easy!

Now that she knew what she needed to work on, she started practicing more and more. Rasha signed up for our 3-Week Vocabulary course, as well as a Writing Review. And thankfully, she had her husband to practice with every day. With the help we gave her and the attention from her husband, she was ready to get her dream scores!

On Their Way

In March of 2016, she took the TOEFL and got her best scores:

Total: 104, reading: 26, listening: 25, speaking: 27, writing: 26

Even though she had trouble at first, she used our methods and stuck it out to the end. She was a great student who we can all learn something from!
