• Beginning Again

Camilla’s challenge was that her deadline to apply for graduate school was fast approaching. And as it turned out, she would only take the TOEFL once before her time was up. So, she really needed to make her first attempt count…

  • Finding Help

Camilla was one of the lucky ones. She started out her journey working with NoteFull.

Using the Free Trial course, she learned as much as she could. She found it to be a great help. Then she signed up for the Complete TOEFL Mastery program. As well as 2 additional Reviews.

Camilla’s TOEFL journey lasted about 3 months. She used our “How To Study” advice to craft a powerful study plan for herself. The advice helped her with time management. And with deciding what to study. Here’s what her 3-month schedule looked like:

    First month: 5-6 hours daily

    Second month: 3-4 hours daily

    Third month: 1-2 hours daily

Leah worked closely with Camilla to make sure she used all her NoteFull resources in the best way possible. Leah’s guidance helped her iron out her weaknesses. And helped her stay focused on getting better. She felt her note-taking skills improve greatly. As well as her smoothness.

She felt the writing reviews were “amazing!” Mathew’s support was just what she needed. He helped her boost her score from 22 to 27 just like that!

When faced with the TOEFL, many students try to take it as many times as they can. Their hope is that if they take it enough times they’ll eventually get the scores they need. But this is a common trap that students get caught in. Instead of taking a break for a month or two to study, they keep drilling it over and over. This often results in disappointment. Not to mention frustration!

Camilla was wise to wait until she felt ready to take on the TOEFL. She stayed patient for those 3 months. And when she knew she was ready, she went for it…

  • On Their Way

On her very first attempt, Camilla got a total of 107! Scoring a 27 in 3 out of the 4 sections! Incredible!

Camilla remembers the questions being quite complex. But now she agrees with our claim that:

“Once you learn the structure it is easy to answer any question that shows up.”

“NoteFull gave me the confidence and tools I needed!!!…I worked hard, it’s true but it wouldn’t be possible without your help! “

Here is what Camilla has to say to anyone studying for the TOEFL right now:

“It might seem difficult to reach your desired score in the beginning. Just don’t think about it! Set goals and overcome your weak points step by step with optimism. In the end, you will look back and be proud of yourself!”

    Reading: 26, Listening: 27, Speaking: 27, Writing: 27
