January 2016

NoteFull's Students of the Month for January 2016  back to top

Everyone from NoteFull wants to first wish you a happy and fruitful beginning to 2016. This month, January 2016, we're going to do something a little different. We want to start the new year off with continued motivation and inspiration by showcasing several stories from students all around the world just like you.

First, though, we want you to see the themes throughout each success story so you can make 2016 the year that you pass the TOEFL. Here are some common points all success stories have in common:

A plan of action: each successful student sets time aside each day not just to read strategy, but to really dig deep into the strategies. Ask questions: What does it mean to brainstorm? Am I going in circles or do I need to change how I'm reviewing?

Be mindful and seek help from our instructors when you're confused. We're always here to help anytime: StudentHelp@NoteFull.com

Perseverance: in addition to planning to study at least a little bit each day, successful students are consistently hopeful no matter what. This is very important to start the new year off with: don't give up on yourself as you are worth the investment!

Internalization: to internalize something means to check within yourself to see what went right or what went wrong. This is really important because this is where growth happens. If and when you don't get the score you need, it's always in your best interest to see what was it that you could have done better. This is tough, but when we look at our weaknesses, we're able then to diagnose and fix the problem!

So, keep these three points in mind now and for 2016. You're going to create your plan of action, persevere regardless of the obstacles, and internalize so you can be better each day. Now, here are successes that we will use as our own inspiration for succeeding this year!

Sri was a student that used our free course and was able to get the score that he needed. Here's what he had to say:

"I have taken my TOEFL test [and] I got score of 89 and am happy with it. I just studied from the free courses and, thanks a lot, it has helped me a lot!! Cheers to you!!"

Janvi followed the three points we described above and really reached out as much as possible. We help each and every student that emails us. For Janvi, this was a huge help. Take a look at what happened:

"I received my TOEFL ibt scores yesterday and the score is amazing. I got 109 with 27 in reading, 27 in listening, 27 in speaking and 28 in writing. This score was not possible without your constant help and support. I would like to thank your team NoteFull for helping me out throughout. You guys are doing great work by helping students like me. Thank you once again."

Next, Azat registered for our 3-Step TOEFL Mastery course and Complete TOEFL Assessment and really boosted his score. He received a 75, then 74, then finally a 97 after 12 weeks of consistent practice. Here's what he had to say:

"The NoteFull Program is amazing!

My objective was 79 or higher with no sub-score below 17. My score on December 19 with the NoteFull support is 97 (26+26+20+25)! It's fantastic!

My scores this spring without your support were 75 (17+16+19+23) and 74 (18+16+18+22). I had 12 weeks of preparing with NoteFull.

I only worked on improving my TOEFL skills under the NoteFull Program! And it has helped me! Guys, thank you very much! It is our common achievement, our common victory!"

Finally, Ali wrote into showing his dedication to our three major points of success above. He practiced diligently, kept going even though he was nervous, and will continue to work on his speaking even though it's not completely perfect yet. Here's his story:

"I had been planning to take my first TOEFL exam in February 2016. But I was so nervous that my wife requested me to take it in December 2015. I needed to study a lot, or say, cram everything up regarding speaking and writing components that I hadn't focused on privately up to that time.

I asked one of my friends who took it before about what to do. He advised me to watch your videos and follow the instructions and benefit from the templates. In twenty days, I watched those and strictly adhered to them as well as practicing. Then I took it and I got the results:

R 29, L 28, S 22, W 26 with a total of 105

I know that my speaking skill still seems to be lacking. In its core, It is because of our grammar-oriented foreign language education system. But I strongly believe that I will improve it too. Overall, I thank you for the videos and simplicity within them. It is amazing not to be able to acquire so much useful knowledge from volumes of TOEFL prep books!"

We hope you feel good about starting off 2016 with the motivation to make it the year that you'll be able to move on and pursue your dreams. We want to make sure that it is, so please get in touch with us with any and all concerns or questions: StudentHelp@NoteFull.com

Good luck studying and we hope to hear from you soon!
