NoteFull's Student of the Month for June 2014  back to top

NoteFull is thrilled to introduce our next Student of the Month: Hadeel Isbaih fromPalestine!

Hadeel was studying and preparing for the TOEFL to earn her license as a Foreign Pharmacistin the United States. Hadeel worked very consistently and closely with NoteFull's Master Instructors to pass her test--and on May 5th, we received the news. Hadeel passed once and for all! Here is her story...

Hadeel's study plan:

Hadeel took her first TOEFL about two years ago. On the very first test she took, she earned: Reading 14, Listening 14, Speaking 23, Writing 22.

She mentions that it was particularly difficult for her to keep a job and study and continue to pay for her exams. It's a tricky balance--study more and work fewer hours? Or study less and take on more hours at work.

Regardless, she knew that she had a lot of work to do. With a total starting score of 73, she understood that she would have to begin with a strong set of study materials. So, she registered for all the help she could get, right away.

Hadeel's study plan included: 12-step Speaking + Tutoring + Review12-step Writing + Tutoring + ReviewComplete TOEFL Mastery, and ESL Power.

Hadeel worked with NoteFull TOEFL Tutors regularly to boost her fundamental abilities, as well as her TOEFL strategies. With them she says that she was able to "improve skills" and "feel the psychological support" which are both incredibly important to passing the test.

Towards the end of Hadeel's TOEFL journey she was taking two tutoring sessions per week, and working on all four sections EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

Success at long last!

After about 2 years of studying, 17 TOEFL tests later, and 2 days before her FPGEE expiration, Hadeel achieved the following results:

Reading: 21 - Listening: 20 - Speaking: 27 - Writing: 25, Total of 93/120

Now that Hadeel has passed, she's "optimistic" to move forward to the next step in her career and personal life. She can finally move on. Way to go, Hadeel!

Hadeel's final tips and words of encouragement:

Hadeel states that, "the best habit to pass is to practice all 4 sections of the TOEFL every  day under TOEFL, timed conditions." She says, "it is not an easy test," so never underestimate it.

Lastly, she says to all TOEFL students: "be strong and optimistic; it's very important to have the faith that god won't waste all the efforts of the hard work. And try to concentrate, finally and very important (get away from distractions , concentrate, concentrate, and concentrate)."
