Should a city try to preserve its old, historic buildings or destroy them and replace modern buildings? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion. Nowadays, the pace of change in our lives is becoming faster and faster due to the progress of the modern technology. We can clearly observe the dramatic changes in the environment, for example the modern factories, luxurious building, high-tech machines and so on. There is considerable heated dabate about whether the city should preserve the old building among this high-speed technology or destroy and then renew them. Some people believe that a city should preserve this old and traditional buildings, while another prefer to destroy them and replace the modern buildings. When it comes to me, it seems very difficult for me to prefer one to another because all of them have their advantages and disadvantages. But after consideration of these factors, I personally would rather preserve the old building because of the countless reasons that I mention them below: The first think that I like the city to preserve the historic building is that, the old building are like the memory of the ancient history, culture, custom and tradition. Observing these old buildings reminds me of the peace and calm of the past time. These structures not only relive ancient pleasure time but also relieve the stress and pressure of the modern life. It’s really obvious that, one of the most important reasons of travelling to the villages, country sides and some natural places is that, existence of historical and old building in that places make people feel less pressured and more pleased. The second point that can be seen by everyone is that every ancient countries have very rich tourism industry due to their natural old fashioned buildings and antique structures. Tourists from different countries travel to ancient country to visit these historic building and enjoy them, Therefore, if we carefully preserve these old buildings we have very precious resources for making money and investment. Last but not least, preserving the ancient buildings familiarize me with my ancestors and descendants and teach me a lot of information about my countries history, culture, regulation, tradition and also I can gain various experiences from the classical and architectural design and style of these buildings. In a word, although, destroying the old buildings and replacing modern buildings have some advantages like experiencing new method of architecture or providing convenient buildings that make me more comfortable, I think the advantages of preserving these buildings outweight the advantages of destroying them, because preserving the natural and old building make me feel quite nostalgic, attract a lot of investment via the tourism industry, and finally, help me to be familiar with my rich classical culture.

Movies theaters are one of the best place to relax and to go. the building of a new movie center may be at first a good idea specially if it's close to your residence. The proximity let save on gas and avoid traffic stress. It will encourage some investeur in the area and my neighorhood will be a great attractive place to stays. Therefore, the building of a movie theater will be a worthit even though it may be a source of insecurity.

Hi Joseph, could you please take a moment to evaluate my essay as the samples so that I can study your corrections before I talke to you again? Thanks in advance. wp2(official guide 2009)Jie S Being independent is a very important step in our lives because it is the stage no one can avoid. When there is an option for us to choose from becoming independent from their parents as quickly as possible and to be with their parents for longer, it is not easy to make a decision because there are advantages and disadvantages of either choice. However, I would choose to live with parents for a longer time for a few reasons. First, living with parents for a longer time provides chances to take responsibility for parents. When a young adult starts to work and makes living, she should begin to learn how to financially contribute to her family. In other words, she is no longer expected to wait for her parents’ support when she shares the same roof with other family members during this time. For example, I contributed my first month earning to my family after I got my first job to show my appreciation of the fact that they brought me up. I also started regularly contribution to share the utility bills and mortgage the next month. As a result, I learned to take financial responsibility and to grasp financial skills. Furthermore, I learned to take care of my parents when they were sick. For example, one day, my mom had to go to an emergency room for a surgery. I was with her in the waiting room and looking after her after her surgery. If I did not live with her, I wouldn’t have been there seeing that she needed me. Second, while living with parents for a longer time, it is convenient to married couples. Based on Chinese culture, married couples count on their parents to take care of their children when they both go to work. They don’t need to worry if their kids are in any difficulties. For example, when my son was two years old, he had to go to day care when I went to work. He cried and didn’t eat for a few days. As a result, he got serious throat problem. I started to send him to my parents’ house while taking me 1. 5 hours to get back and forth every day because of the traffic. I was doing this for a week and I decided to move to their house because my son was happy when he was with my parents. I would have worried about my son if I hadn’t have lived with my parents after I was married. In sum, living with parents for a longer time benefits everyone in the family because a young adult learns to take responsibilities for parents, parents receives care from their loved ones and married couples benefit from not worrying their kids. If it were possible, I would live with my parents as long as possible because I can not only become independent, but also take advantage to be helped.
